Tesla Motors Awarded By Automobile Club of Southern California

 tesla motors

The American electric automobile manufacturer, Tesla Motors, has received good news, as one of its pioneered vehicles, Model S P85D, has been ranked first by the Automobile Club of Southern California. Tesla news reported that a test was carried out by the research center of the club. 88 vehicles were tested and rated in a number of categories. These encompassed comfort ability of the ride, levels of emissions, fuel costs, handling and braking. These features might add to the selling proposition of the product.
Industry sources have informed that the automaker scored 94.87 points, almost 10 points greater than the scored points of the rivals. The club has stated in its report that the vehicle is spacious, enjoyable, and quiet. This statement is sufficient to indicate that it is capable of satisfying all the needs of its users by providing superior quality.
Tesla news today affirmed that this electric ‘automotive’ has a number of excellent features. These include an approximate range of 253 miles between charges and 691 horsepower from a double motor set up. Company sources have informed that the high-tech car is capable of reaching 60 miles per hour in three seconds. This information indicates the accelerating ability of the car.
The price of the car was higher than other high ranked cars. Some of them also belonged to luxury brands. The German companies, Bayerische Motoren Werke AG and Audi, manufactured two of the tested cars. Tesla Motors news highlighted that the majority of the appreciated cars were powered by electricity. This information indicates that the popularity of electric vehicles is rising day by day, as fuel-consuming cars are being blamed for polluting the environment.
Volkswagen’s e-Golf SEL Premium was also appreciated as it ranked second in the test. The report said that the car could not match the standard of Tesla-pioneered product as it lacked range. BMW i3 ranked third, which was appreciated for its highly advanced electronics and lightweight materials. Fourth rank was awarded to Subaru Outback 2.5i Premium. It was the only gasoline vehicle in the top ten. The Volkswagen Golf TDI SE was given the fifth rank, which was appreciated for its lower price. Other vehicles in the top ten included Audi A7 TDI Quattro Tiptronic, Nissan leaf, BMW 328d M SportToyota Highlander Hybrid Limited, and the Audi A8 LTDI Quattro Tiptronic. The report also discusses details about green technologies, such as diesel engines, battery electric vehicles, fuel cell vehicles, and plugin hybrids.
It is most probable that the scoring done by the club would promote the use of electric cars. Now it is yet to be seen that to what extent the ranking list is able to increase the sales of Tesla.

Tesla Motors Being Encouraged To Build Plant In Massena

 tesla motors

The American electric automobile manufacturer, Tesla Motors, is encouraged to build a production facility within the territorial boundaries of New York, Massena. Tesla news reported that a social networking lobby is using the American social networking websites, Facebook and Twitter, to persuade the Chief Executive Officer, Ellon Musk, to build an electric vehicle production plant in the US. Thousands of Facebook users have joined and formed an online pro manufacturing plant group, called ‘Tesla Motors for Massena’. Twitter users are also playing their role in attracting the owner of the company as a number of pro plant tweets have been sent to the official account.

Tesla news today reported that the purpose of this group is to make Mr. Musk realize that he should establish a production plant in US. The group believes that its construction would be beneficial for both, company and the residents of the state. The pro plant lobby believes that this production facility would play an important role in benefiting the Aluminum manufacturing firms in the state, as the electric vehicles are developed with 100% aluminum bodies. The lobby also believes that the operational costs of the Massena-based plant would be quite low, as the state is well known for providing cheap hydropower.

Tesla motors news has reported that the US is not a stranger to vehicle production, as General Motors has gone through the experience of operating a manufacturing facility in the state. It was not successful there, as it polluted lakes and suffered from bankruptcy. The management of the social networking groups is also interested in using other means for fulfilling their objective, as it has exclaimed that it would try its best to gather support from economic development corporations, such as Massena Business Development Corporation and St Lawrence County Industrial development Corporation. It is expected that these corporations could play an important part in drawing the attention of Tesla’s owner.

The efforts made by the networking lobby are sufficient to explain that it is interested in promoting electric vehicles, which it believes can minimize the pollution. It is believed that the state government of Massena could help in attracting the attention of the vehicle maker. It is anticipated that Mr. Musk and advisors would first assess the economic feasibility of constructing the plant and then make a decision to establish their plant in Massena.

The endeavors of the online lobby mark the future prospects of the company. Various market analysts and experts have critically acclaimed and appreciated the aforementioned actions and struggles of the lobby. Now it is yet to be seen that to what extent does the efforts of the pro plant lobby are able to play their role in persuading the management of the organization.

Direct Sales Of Tesla Motors Banned In West Virginia

 tesla motores

The American high-tech electric automobile manufacturer, Tesla Motors, has suffered from a huge setback as its direct sales have been banned in the state of West Virginia. Tesla News affirms that the Governor of the Virginian State, Ray Tomblin, has signed a new bill that aims to stop automobile manufacturers from working in the capacity of an automobile dealer or offering a dealership. This piece of legislation is passed to ensure that all vehicles are sold through franchised dealers. The organization will face new challenges due to this regulation.
Tesla news today reported that the President of the West Virginias Senate, Bill Cole, who also runs the Nissan dealership, supported this pro dealer’s legislation.  The President of the West Virginia Automobile and Truck Dealers Association has also advocated the legislation as he stated that the bill is not passed to target the electric vehicle producer. It is expected that this newly passed legislation would safeguard the interests of the dealership lobby, which states that their deals have been designed to benefit the customers as they offer flexible prices and encourage competition among carmakers.
Tesla Motors has opposed the law, as its management has objected against this new piece of legislation that has been designed to curtail the freedom of automobile users and safeguard the interests of dealers only. It has also stated that it would fight for the rights of the car users. These two statements are sufficient to explain that Ford has been injured by this legislation. It is expected that this new pro dealer’s legislation would play an important role in reducing the sales of the company, as this law does not allow it to sell cars to customers from a number of nearby states, such as Washington, D.C, Kentucky, Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Ohio.
The newly ratified law is expected to amend the selling method of the producer, as now it would have to establish galleries in the state of West Virginia. Latest Tesla news confirms that West Virginia is not the only state in which the corporation has been banned from directly selling its products, as the governments of some other states, such as Michigan, Maryland, Iowa, Texas, and Arizona, have also banned direct sales. The regulation has received mixed responses from analysts and market experts. The customers, on the other hand, have also demonstrated similar feedback.
The organization is experienced enough to sell its products through the indirect means of franchised dealers. Many have viewed the ratification of the pro dealership law as a victory for automobile dealers who are most likely to benefit from the legislation. Now it is yet to be seen that to what extent the newly passed regulation is able to play its role in helping the users of these locomotives.
