Company sources stated that the latest high-tech devices would not only secure and process data but also helps in speeding up the process of data related decision-making. Dell computer affirmed that these products could work with a number of operating systems, including Wind River Linux, Ubuntu, and Microsoft Windows IoT.
Microsoft has appreciated Dell’s initiative and its vice president of worldwide OEM marketing, Peter Han, has stated that the new windows IoT operating gateways would help the company automate safety, analytics, and effectiveness.
The management of the computer developer has also decided to collaborate with the high tech organization, ThingWorx. It is probable that the collaboration between the two companies would provide the technological and business expertise needed to ease the difficulties of employing the modern systems.
Experts stated that if the new products are successful, then they would not only help the company increase its revenues and profits, but also help in improving its image in the global world.
Media sources suggested that the new device would be sold at a price of $479. The users of the company’s IoT products could acquire additional features for extra $200 to $300.
