The American electronic automobile producer, Tesla Motors, has decided to build and operate a super charging station in Australia. Tesla news reported that the company would build a super charging station in Goulburn, which is located between the cities of Sydney and Canberra. The project would consist of eight super chargers that are constructed to make the use of electric automobiles convenient.
The project would be located near the Hume Highway. Experts have stated that the station would permit drivers to charge up their cars in a time span of one hour, for covering approximately 270 kilometers. Company sources informed that the charging station would start its operations before June.
Superchargers are currently capable of charging electric vehicles in the fastest manner. Tesla news today affirms that these innovative charging stations would be much more powerful than the existing power charging stations of the company. This information is adequate to elaborate that it would be able to charge vehicles in a better manner.
Government sources have informed that the station would be quite different from the ones located in other areas, as these would purchase electricity from renewable resources.
